Stuff for Sale

Yow! What a week. We decided early that since we’ll be moving back to a (nearly) fully furnished condo in Chicago, and since we don’t know when and if we’ll buy House #2 (presumably in a warm weather place), storing all the things from the Bermuda house for an unknown period of time and for an unknown location was not the smart thing to do. So …. stuff for sale! Kim barely put up a notice in the Bacardi office, and we’ve had swarms of people in the house looking for things to buy. And they’ve been buying – much more quickly than we had expected – and at prices we thought were fair to all. I’ve even got a guy who might make an offer on our entire wine collection. At the current rate, we’ll leave here in April with suitcases only (and maybe not even that). My kind of move.
